A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 121 S. Second St. Columbia PA 17512 on Friday, October 2, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends may view at the church on Friday one hour prior to the mass.
Thelma D. S. Storm, 85, a lifelong resident of Columbia, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Luther Acres surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Leo E. Storm, with whom she shared 67 years of marriage, and the daughter of the late Helen Splain Zink.
Thelma had a fierce love for her family and all children. She was an active and devoted member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Columbia where she was a long-standing member of the choir. Thelma was an avid gardener who meticulously cared for her flowers and plantings around her home. She was a member of the Columbia Historical Preservation Society and was instrumental in managing the Columbia Garden and House tours.
In addition to her husband, Thelma is survived by her children: C. Sue Storm, fiancée of Jamie Young; Karen, wife of Audie Spina; and Robert M. Storm. She is also survived by two grandsons, Ryan T. Donnelly, husband of Kristen, and Phillip M. Donnelly, husband of Megan; two great-granddaughters, Nora Marie and Hazel Rose Donnelly; and her sisters, Shirly Ann Andrews and Cynthia L. Bailey, wife of Michael. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Edwill, William, and John Zink; Georgianna Dietz; Mary Elizabeth Stark; and Robin J. Zink.

Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends may view at the church on Friday one hour prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Thelma’s memory may be made to St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
