Dawn M. Porter

If you knew anything about Dawn, is that she loved her “Fun Streak”.

Dawn M. Porter, 45 of Wrightsville, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at her residence. She was the wife of Michael A. Porter, with whom she shared 12 years of marriage. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Willis Sr. and Elaine Arndt Shell.

Dawn graduated from David Crockett High School in 1999 and was employed as a customer service representative with, AT&T, and other retailers throughout her life.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, James, husband of Angel Shell; brother, Willis Jr. husband of Amanda Shell and her maternal grandmother, Rose Arndt.

Dawn had many skills in cosmetology, like nails, face and skin care, but the main one she loved was her hair!  If you knew anything about her, is that she loved her “Fun Streak”.
