He loved spending time with his family, watching old movies, and shows, listening to music.
Richard Scheetz, 54, of Columbia lost his short battle with cancer on September 24, 2026. He loved spending time with his family, watching old movies, and shows, listening to music – especially Christmas music, and his canine companion Diamond.
Richard is survived by his aunts and caretakers Barbara Clark of Columbia, Kathryn Scheetz (William Lauver) of Columbia; a sister Dawn Reefer of McConnellsburg; his cousins Carl Scheetz and Barbara Clark of Columbia, Toni Flasher (Chris Harne) of Fayetteville, Julia Vance (Leon Vance) of McConnellsburg, and Dakota Usner (Isabella Flasher) of McConnellsburg. He was preceded in death by his parents.
