Muriel Scott, 92, of Columbia, PA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, February 14, 2026.  She was the daughter of the late Paul and Emily Heaston Myers. She was also the beloved wife of Milton C. “Whitey” Scott.  They were married 66 years when he died.

She is survived by her son, Milton P. (Kathy) Scott; grandson, Milton D. Scott and great granddaughter, Layla. Also surviving is her sister, Shirley (Mike) Halter and brothers, Richard Myers and Gary (Mary) Myers.  She was preceded in death by her sisters, Janet Yeager and Janie Myers and her brother, Pete.

Funeral services are private. Please omit flowers. Contributions in Muriel’s memory may be made to Our Lady of the Angels Catholic School, 404 Cherry Street, Columbia, PA 17512.
