A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 121 S. 2nd St, Columbia, PA 17512.

The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.

Burial will be private and she will be laid to rest at Ironville Cemetery.

Lisa R. Brown, 71, of Columbia passed away on May 30, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Columbia to the late Salvador “Sye” and Catherine “Kitty” Cover Nobile and was a lifelong resident of Columbia.

Lisa was a graduate of Columbia High School with the Class of 1973 and worked as an Administrative Assistant with the Columbia Borough for twenty-five years. She loved being with her family and spending time at the family cabin on the Susquehanna River. Lisa was a loving wife, mother, “Nona” to her grandchildren, sister, and aunt who adored her family and treasured spending time with them.

Lisa leaves behind her husband of forty-seven years John L. Brown of Columbia; two children Jonathan, husband of Somer Brown of Annville, Stefanie, wife of Nathanael Zearing of Ebensburg; eight grandchildren Ava, Harper, Caleb, Asher, Brandon, Dylan, Hunter, and Lanie; three great grandchildren Laylah, Lincoln, and Jade; five siblings Sye Nobile of Bainbridge, Ron, husband of Jeanmarie Nobile of Columbia, Michele Keiper of Columbia, Denise Nobile of Columbia, Bob, husband of Chris Nobile of Columbia; numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Nick Nobile.
