Kay L. (Klinedinst) Rowland, 83 of Ronks, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at the home of her daughter Bonnie in York under the care of Bayada Hospice. She was surrounded with love by her daughter and grandchildren.  She was the loving wife of Harold Rowland with whom she shared 25 years together.

She was born in Columbia to the late Stewart L. and Beatrice M. (Sholly) Klinedinst and she attended Columbia High School.  Kay formerly had worked for AMP in Lancaster.  She enjoyed crafting of all types, especially painting, scrapbooking and home makeover projects.  Kay enjoyed spending time in Potter County at several families’ camps and going to the beach with her daughters and grandchildren to Ocean City Maryland and Kure Beach North Carolina.

Kay and her husband enjoyed going to Auctions, Antiquing and doing large puzzles together.  They traveled often by transporting the Amish to various places and to Cadiz, Kentucky where they then lived for 3 years before returning to Pennsylvania because she was missing her daughters and grandchildren too much.  They took cruises, drove to Alaska for a 3-week trip and vacationed in Pigeon Forge. During one trip to Pigeon Forge 25 years ago we got a phone call that her and Harold had eloped.

Kay loved her little black Pomeranian Molly.  Most importantly she loved her family deeply and enjoyed spending time with them.

In addition to her husband Harold, she is survived by her 3 daughters, Bonnie Lerch wife of Philip of York, Kim Fauth of York, Pam Hauck of York and her stepson, Dean Rowland of Ronks. 16 grandchildren; Kristin, Alexis, Melissa, Dustin, Faith, Kayla, Zayden, Drayden, Natilynn, Nina, Adrianna, Derek, Shea, Jason, Jeremy and Mandi, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great greatgrandchildren and her siblings Carol Rajkovic and Peg Kowalski and many nieces and nephews and a large extended family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Stewart Klinedinst Jr. and her sister Jean Forry as well as 2 brothers in law Gary and Stan.

Following Cremation a service of remembrance and time of sharing will be held at Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home.
