Bonnie D. Barrett, 81, of Columbia passed away on August 14, 2026. She was born in Marietta to the late Paul and Mabel Rogers Koser and was a lifelong resident of this area.
Bonnie attended Columbia High School and worked with AMP – Tyco for thirty-nine years until her retirement. She was baptized in the Lutheran Faith and was also a member of the Catholic War Veterans #1307, VFW Red Rose Post #2435, and Columbia American Legion Post #372. Bonnie loved clothing and all things butterflies. She enjoyed wine and was known to be a great cook. Bonnie was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister who adored her family and treasured spending time with them.
Bonnie leaves behind two children Ronald, Jr., husband of Mindy Roye of Columbia, Diane Weaver of Mountville; two granddaughters Samantha, wife of Travis Fisher of East Prospect, Chelsea, wife of Alex Spence of Lancaster; four great grandchildren Chase Whitman of Columbia, Addison Fisher of East Prospect, Cameron and Parker Spence both of Lancaster; a brother P. David Koser of Wrightsville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings Ardelle Brenneman and Merlin Koser.
