Services will be held at the Stevens Hill Community Church of the Brethren 3131 Turnpike Road, Elizabethtown PA 17022 on Saturday, January 17, 2025 beginning at 1:00PM.
Peggy M. Sawyer 83 of Columbia, passed away on November 30, 2025. She was the wife of the late Edward W. Sawyer. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Murtis F. and Bertha Zink Nace.
Peggy retired from St. Annes Retirement Community as a nurse’s aide and had been previously employed by the former ITT Grinnell Corp. where she worked as a core setter.
She survived by her brothers, Larry Nace; Clair Nace (Cheryl); Jay Nace (Sharon); William Nace; Franklin Nace (Elizabeth); Robert Colon, Jr. sisters, Janet Colon; Jane Geib; Ann Redcay; Joyce Emlet (Steven); Judy Lynn Bartels; A host of nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Eugene Nace, Cleon Nace, Murtis Nace, Jr. and Jack Nace.
Services will be held at the Stevens Hill Community Church of the Brethren 3131 Turnpike Road, Elizabethtown PA 17022 on Saturday, January 17, 2025 beginning at 1:00PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Columbia Animal Hospital.
