A graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School with the Class of 1950 and proudly served in the United State Army.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 27, 2026 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 409 Cherry St., Columbia, PA 17512.

There will be no prior visitation.

Burial will be private and he will be laid to rest with his beloved Margaret at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery.

Bernard J. Weisser, 93, of Columbia passed away on March 19, 2026. He was born in Columbia to the late William and Margaret Horn Weisser and was a lifelong resident of Columbia.

Bernard was a graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School with the Class of 1950 and proudly served in the United State Army. Following his service, he worked at the former Olmsted Air Force Base before working with Harley Davidson until his retirement. Bernard was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle who adored his family and treasured spending time with them. He was a faithful parishioner of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Bernard leaves behind four children Carl, husband of Carol Weisser of Linglestown, Bernard, husband of Linda Weisser of Wrightsville, Diane, wife of Robert Evans of Brownsville, NY, David, husband of Jaime Weisser of Mount Joy; five grandchildren Ashley, Christopher, Robert II, Jaquelyn (Cameron), Owen; two great-grandchildren Sophia and Aubrey; numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret in 2013 and four siblings, Bill, Gene aka "Huey", Margaret, and Anita.
