Thomas Crawford, 78, of Columbia passed away on October 6, 2026. He was born in Philadelphia to the late Andrew and Mary Crawford and lived most of his life in this area.
Thomas worked with the former ITT Grinnell for many years until his retirement. He coached softball for the Special Olympics and was an avid fan of Philadelphia sports – especially the Phillies. Thomas was a devoted father who loved doting on his beloved granddaughters.
Thomas leaves behind two children Christine Crawford and Thomas Crawford both of Columbia; two granddaughters Kabrinna East of Delaware and Cassie Gaus of Wrightsville; a sister Joan Crawford of Kansas; his friend and mother to his children Betty Crawford of Wrightsville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several siblings.
