Miriam E. "Mim" Horn, 94 of Columbia, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, at the Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph E. Horn with whom she was married 60 years until his death in 2011. Born in Ironville, she was the daughter of the late Issac and Bertha Hambright Kneisly.
Mim retired from the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors, Inc. and was a devoted member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Columbia. Most important to her was her family, dedicating herself unselfishly to them and relishing the time spent with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph B., husband of Cindy Horn; Eric D., husband of Jayme Horn; daughters, Marita J., wife of Dan Sargen; Mindy A., wife of Bill Young; grandchildren, Michelle, Scott, Shawn, Steve, Matt, Brian H., Brian S., Annika, Joseph, Kyle, Sean, Courtney; great-grandchildren, River, Caiden, Owen, Addy, Jessalyn, Victoria, Tyler, Lincoln, Frankie, Ava, Tristan, Mackenzie, Ethan, Liam; great-great-grandchildren, Blake & Brogan. Her sister, Gladys Kneisly preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 409 Cherry St. Columbia PA 17512 on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Mark Wilke, Celebrant. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery. Friends may view at the church one hour prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
