Michelle E."Chelley" Koser, 52, formerly of Columbia, passed away on November 30, 2018. She was the wife of John C. Koser. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Cletus B. Messer, Jr. and Joanne Furnari Messer, who survives.
Chelley was a food service worker, having been employed by Wendy's, Hershey Entertainment and St. Anne's which she truly loved. She enjoyed reading cookbooks, needlepoint and the company of her many cats.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by her siblings, Dale R. husband of Sandy Messer; Terri, wife of Randy Siegrist; Bernadette Newcomer, companion of Thomas; Hidi Wagner; Joseph Sequin, ten nieces and nephews and seven great-nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her aunt and uncle.
Funeral services will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, 655 S. Tenth St., Columbia, PA 17512 on Monday, December, 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Mark S. Kopp, officiating. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens. There will be no public viewing, however the family will receive family and friends at the church, one hour prior to the service. Please omit flowers.
