Michael Günter Vasali, 67, of Columbia passed away on October 5, 2025. He was born in Ludwigshafen, Germany to Elisabeth and the late George Vasali and spent most of his life in this area.
Michael was a graduate of Manchester High School Central and worked for many years as a librarian at the Thomas Beaver Free Library. He enjoyed trivia, improv acting, and making people laugh. Michael loved animals, especially dogs. He will be missed for his sense of humor and his generous spirit.
Michael leaves behind his mother Elisabeth Vasali of Dry Ridge, KY; three siblings, Sylvia, wife of Bryan Batchelor of Dry Ridge, KY, Christina, wife of Michael Smith of Marietta, Peter, husband of Judy Vasali of York; four nephews and one niece, Zachariah, Justin, Dalton, Nolan, and Linnea; his grand nephew Gyorgy. He was preceded in death by his father.
