Janice enjoyed crocheting, scrapbooking, metal detecting at the beach, reading, and doting on her family and friends; especially her grandchildren.

Janice Lynn (Williams) Hughes went home to be with the Lord on December 24th, 2022. She was just shy of her fifty-ninth birthday. She was born on January 2nd, 1964 to Janet S. Williams and the late Robert J. Williams.
Janice is survived by her husband John L. Hughes, Jr. and three children, Mychele “Miki” Holliday, Justin Hughes, and Yolonda “Yoyo” Hughes. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Finnigan and Mackinleigh Holliday and three sisters, Stephanie Heinzman, Kim Trauger, and Marianne Windle. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert J. Williams III and Jeffrey C. Williams.
Janice was a 1981 graduate of McCaskey High School. She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Lancaster. Janice was devoted to family and friends and would give you the shirt off her back if she thought it would help you. She was the mascot at the age of 2 ½ for the Billette Marching Group. Janice enjoyed crocheting, scrapbooking, metal detecting at the beach, reading, and doting on her family and friends; especially her grandchildren.
