Janet F. Bernstein, 78, of Columbia passed away on October 16, 2025. She was born in Queens, NY to the late Lawrence and Sylvia McLaughlin and had lived for the last twenty-one years in this area.
Janet was a collector who enjoyed bears, dolls, and comic books. She loved to bake, dining out to eat, and going to the movies. Janet was a devoted wife and mother who adored her family and treasured spending time with them. She was of the Catholic Faith.
Janet leaves behind her son, Chad, husband of Laura Bernstein of Mount Joy; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Bernstein in 2012 and two sisters, June and Marguerite.
There will be no formal services for Janet and any future services will be announced by her family.
