James "Jamie" Anthony Iannaccone
James “Jamie” Anthony Iannaccone, 72, of Landisville, passed away surrounded by his family on August 18, 2025, following a courageous battle with ALS.
Born in Queens, NY and raised in Hanover Township, NJ, Jamie was the son of the late Saverio and Beatrice (O’Hara) Iannaccone. He graduated from Bayley Ellard High School in the Class of 1971, where he played football, and went on to play at Union University before transferring to the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he earned a degree in civil engineering.
Jamie enjoyed a long and successful career with Schindler Elevator Corporation, retiring as Vice President. He was an avid golfer and NASCAR fan, and he loved traveling with his family. Above all, Jamie was a devoted husband, father, brother, and uncle who deeply cherished time spent with loved ones.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Bonnie Iannaccone of Landisville; his son, Matthew Iannaccone of Landisville; his siblings: Barbara, wife of Gerry Blair of Lutherville, MD; Lawrence, husband of Cecilia Iannaccone of Spring Lake, NJ; Robert, husband of Karen Iannaccone of Morristown, NJ; and Victor, husband of the late Linda Iannaccone of Palm Beach Gardens, FL. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Karen, wife of Ronald Usner of New Holland, and Patricia, wife of Barry Pautz of New Holland; brother-in-law Terry Hackett of New Holland; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, 247 Main Street, Landisville, PA 17538. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Landisville Mennonite Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association at www.als.org.
