Homer R. "Sas" Zeamer, 79, of Kinderhook, PA passed away at his home on December 4, 2018. He was the husband of Donna M. Zeamer with whom he was married 57 years. He was born in Conestoga, PA to the late Homer E. and Erma B. (Rankin) Zeamer.
He proudly served in the USMC from 1956 to 1959 where he was a sharpshooter and was honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal. He retired from Armstrong World Industries, Lancaster after 35 years of employment.
He enjoyed antiquing, woodworking, car shows, and music. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren, whom he loved with all of his heart.
In addition to his wife are his sons, Brian J. Zeamer husband of Michelle; Steven C. Zeamer husband of Stephanie; grandchildren Zachary, Brianne, Rachael, and Matthew. He is survived by his brother, Harold "Angel" Zeamer, and was preceded in death by his sister, Janet "Sis" Hobday.
Per Homer's request, a military graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Silver Spring Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to The American Cancer Society.
