Harry W. Kline, Jr., passed away peacefully in the early hours of December 14, 2025, at his home, as the snow fell quietly outside. He was born and raised on Rain Tree Road to his parents, Harry Kline, Sr. and Evelyn Kline, a place that would remain close to his heart throughout his life.
In 1960, Harry married the love of his life, Judith A. Heistand. Together, they shared 65 years of marriage and built a life rooted in faith, love, hard work, and family. They were blessed with three children: Brian Kline, Sheri Millar, and Cindy Auker. In 1974, Harry and Judith returned to Rain Tree Road with their family of five, where Harry built the dream home that would be the center of countless memories for generations to come.
Harry retired from the Mount Joy Wire Company after 35 years of dedicated service. Retirement only gave him more time to do what he loved most – spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and continuing his lifelong work on the home he cherished. An avid hunter and outdoorsman, Harry also enjoyed working on vehicles, especially his Corvettes. On warm summer days, he could often be found cruising the backroads of Lancaster County on his Victory motorcycle.
Harry is survived by his devoted wife, Judith A. Kline; his children and their spouses, Brian and Susan Kline, Sheri and David Millar, and Cindy and Jeffrey Auker; his grandchildren and their spouses or partners, Ryan and Vicki Auker, Kendra and Aaron Bowman (Auker), Jena Stauffer (Auker) and her partner, Tim Brubaker, Christa and Joe Barner (Auker), and Shannon Millar and her partner, Chris Johns; his great-grandchildren, Anna Bowman, Jase Barner, Olivia Bowman, Tyler Barner, Grayson Auker, Sage Barner, and Cooper Auker; and his siblings, Joan Byrn, Sheryl Behm, Samuel Kline, and Edward Kline. Harry was preceded in death by his loving grandson-in-law, Travis Stauffer.
Harry’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, and in the many lives he touched throughout his years. After a long and courageous battle, he is now free from pain and suffering and has found eternal peace in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Harry on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Newtown United Methodist Church, located at 1910 Iron Bridge Rd., Columbia, PA 17512. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Newtown United Methodist Church Building Fund, a cause near and dear to both Harry’s and Judith’s hearts.
