Dorothy was an artist who enjoyed coloring, singing and dancing, and taking care of her many animals.

Dorothy R. Noon, 82, of Columbia passed away on December 9, 2025. She was born in Columbia to the late Patrick, Sr. and Louise Choice Kenney and was a lifelong resident of this area.
Dorothy was a graduate of Columbia High School with the Class of 1961. She worked several jobs and eventually with R & S until her retirement. Dorothy was an artist who enjoyed coloring, singing and dancing, and taking care of her many animals. She was known to always help anyone in need and would open up her home to many. Dorothy was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt who adored her family and treasured spending time with them.
Dorothy leaves behind three children, Valerie Kenney-Walker of Phoenix, AZ, Brian Kenney of Columbia, Stacy, wife of Jason Parker of York; sixteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren; a sister, Bernice Kenney-Hurst of Virginia; numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Theodore Noon; a grandson, Jason M. Santos; four brothers, Patrick, Jr., William, Chester, and Richard Kenney.
