Dave loved his country; he served in the Air Force from 1965-1971. He served in Vietnam and was stationed in Thailand during this time. He loved the Memorial Day Parade and loved volunteering to help with it. You could see him every morning bright and early always the first one in the door at Hinkle’s for his breakfast. He would then make his rounds to the clubs-The Legion, Moose, VFW, and the Foresters. Dave served many positions over the years at the clubs, recently being the 2nd Vice Commander at the American Legion.
After his years in the service Dave worked at the old Columbia Hospital, LGH Susquehanna Division, for 25 years. He retired after 5 years of working at Hinkle’s Restaurant.
