Charles G. "Chuck" Long, Jr., of Lancaster, passed away on May 7, 2025 at his residence. Born In Lancaster, he was the son of the late Charles G., Sr. and Patricia Keen Long.
Chuck was a graduate of Lampeter - Strasburg High School, Class of 1975 and was employed for the past six years at Fenner Precision, Manheim. Earlier in life, he coached baseball for the Strasburg Little League and was a player and manager for Ben Zangari's softball team for many years. In addition, he enjoyed horse racing.
Chuck is survived by his children, Whitney D. Long; Colin A. Long (Mackenzie); sister, Keri Kopp (Mark) and his brothers, John Long (Rachel); Kent Long.
A memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 222 N. George St., Millersville, PA on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Mark S. Kopp, officiating. There will be no viewing, however the family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
