Joyce A. Rost, 89, of Columbia passed away on September 12th, 2018. She was born in Columbia to the late William and Minnie Wehner and was a lifelong resident of this area. Joyce was a graduate of Columbia High School and faithful member of St. James Lutheran Church. She enjoyed the beach and visiting her camper in Delaware. Joyce adored her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Joyce leaves behind her children, Eileen, wife of Edward Clark of Elizabethtown, Maxine, wife of Thomas Halbleib of Wrightsville, James Rost, companion of Jennifer Kidd of Darlington, MD; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Rost in 2002, one great grandchild, and five sisters.
Services for Joyce will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 16th, 2018 at St. James Lutheran Church, 655 S. 10th St., Columbia, PA 17512. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. James Lutheran Church. Arrangements by the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc. Columbia/Landisville.
