Charles E. Smith, II “CB”, 59, of Bainbridge passed away on October 28, 2026. He was born in Columbia to the late Charles, I and Virginia Frank Smith and was a lifelong resident of this area.
CB attended Columbia High School and most recently worked as a roofer. He enjoyed camping and fishing – especially on the Susquehanna River. He was also an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. CB was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who adored his family.
CB leaves behind his daughter Amanda Jo Smith of Middletown; three grandchildren; five siblings Ronald Smith, companion of Kim Clemmons of Bainbridge, Joseph, husband of Tina Smith of Jacksonville, FL, Virginia, wife of Thomas Strode of Middleburg, FL, Kathryn, wife of Harvey Winters of Elizabethtown, Linda, wife of Joseph Hallinan of Middleburg, FL; eleven nieces and nephews and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
