Annabel L. Greenly, 86, formerly of Elizabethtown, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020 at Masonic Village where she resided for the past three years. Prior to moving to Masonic Village, she resided at the Mount Hope Nazarene Retirement Community. She was the wife of the late Frank H. Greenly, who preceded her in death in 2017. Born in Lebanon County, she was the daughter of the late John and Etta Rineer Stehman.

Annabel enjoyed camping and fishing with her late husband Frank, enjoyed gardening, canning and collecting dolls. She will be remembered by her family for her keen sense of humor. Most of all, she loved caring for her grandchildren.

Her family extends their appreciation to the staff of Masonic Village and Masonic Village Hospice for the excellent care provided to Annabel.

She is survived by her children, Timothy Greenly (Lynn); Lori Sellers (Barry); Jeffrey Greenly (Lois); Thomas Greenly; three grandchildren; two great-grandsons; sister, Joanne Fogie. She was preceded in death by a great-grandson and siblings, John, Jay, Fern Kelton, Dolores Byers, Ruth Smith and Jean Waybright.

Eyla Reynolds Summar Tolson, 81, of Columbia, passed away on January 5, 2020 at Hospice and Community Care. She was the wife of Gordon J. Tolson with whom she was married 14 years. Born in Oil City, she was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Norman E. Reynolds.

Eyla graduated from Townville High School, Class of 1960 and Indiana State College in 1964 where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Home Economics Education. She later received a Master's Degree from Delaware University in fabric study.

She taught home economics in the Columbia Boro School District for two years followed by 18 years in the Solanco School District at the intermediate school. During summer recess, she volunteered at the Lancaster General Health Campus front desk where she would give directions, push people on their wheelchairs or escort them to their destinations.

Eyla was an active member of the Westgate Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and held most of the elected and appointed positions at one time or another. Her hobbies included gardening and designing flower baskets.

Her family wishes to thank the staff at Oak Leaf Manor North and Hospice and Community Care for the excellent care given to Eyla.

In addition to her husband Gordon, she is survived by three brothers, Paul Reynolds, Stow OH; Lynn Reynolds, Pittsburgh; Leroy Reynolds, Townville; sister, Naomi Diamond, Wadsworth, OH.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Westgate Baptist Church, 2235 Harrisburg Pike, Lancaster PA 17601 with Pastor Robert Zimmerman, officiating, Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may view at the church on Saturday one hour prior to the service.

Theodore “Ted” Johnson, 76, of Columbia passed away on January 4th, 2020. He was born in Lancaster to the late Alvin, Sr. and Inez Johnson and was a lifelong resident of this area.

Ted attended and graduated from Columbia High School before proudly serving in the United States Army. Following his service, he worked as a welder before starting his own company, Johnson Inc. in 1988. Ted was also Past Commander of the Veterans Council, Harvey T. Makle Post 722, and the Amvets Post 153. He was a member of the VFW Post 2435 and the American Legion Post 372.

Ted was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who treasured spending time with his family.

Ted leaves behind his wife of almost 48 years, Kay Johnson of Columbia; his sons, Lance, husband of Christina Johnson of York, Todd Johnson of Hellam; six grandchildren, Shannon, Aliana, Aiden, Lucas, Drex, and Xavier; his brother, Alvin, Jr., husband of Emily Johnson of Maryland.

James enjoyed traveling to the beach and also camping. He was passionate about Harley’s, bikes, and Chevy’s. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who treasured spending time with his family.

James leaves behind his wife over 26 years, Anne Graham of Hellam Township; his children, James, Jr, husband of Amanda Graham of Marietta, Sabina, wife of J.R. After more than six years of courageously battling ovarian cancer, the Lord bestowed her wings and escorted Connie Radziewicz home on January 4, 2020 at the age of 67. She was a loving mother to her children David and Nichole and cherished her grandchildren. She was loved by her husband of 45 years, David Radziewicz, her surviving sisters Mindy, Karen, Vicki, Tina, and her brother Steve.

Although called home far too soon, Connie lived a life full of love and grace. Those fortunate enough to know her were blessed with enduring, loyal friendships. Connie faithfully worshiped at Wrightsville Assembly of God and enjoyed studying scripture with her Bible Study groups.

Despite her battle with cancer, Connie refused to give up on life. Until she was called home, Connie continued to inspire others, modeled a sense of selflessness, humility and dignity. During those moments of good health, she enjoyed life to the fullest taking bus trips with her friends, hiking, walking, visiting the beach, and she loved researching her ancestry.

Connie looked at her battle with cancer as a mission from God; as she cried, laughed and celebrated with joy and love. Embracing the challenge of her diagnosis, she formed the Circle of Hope cancer support group with her fellow parishioners, was a member of the "TEAL Sisters," advocated for increased awareness, and was a champion for women with ovarian cancer.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wrightsville Assembly of God, 365 Orange St., Wrightsville, PA 17368 with Pastor Aaron McNatt, officiating. There will be no viewing, however the family will receive friends on Thursday evening at the church from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday prior to the service. Dolores A. "Dodi" Denlinger, 72, of Wrightsville, passed away on January 2, 2020 at her home, where she lived with her niece, Heather, wife of Mike Barton. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Lester H. and Elsie Delmotte Denlinger.

Dodi retired after many years of service from the former Nichols Department Store in Lancaster where she was employed as an office clerk. She enjoyed reading, especially Agatha Christie novels, crocheting, and watching mystery movies. Most of all she loved being surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her family, brothers, Steve, husband of Anita Denlinger; Randy, husband of Linda Denlinger; nephew, Chad Denlinger; nieces, Megan, wife of Tim Shifflett, Samantha Denlinger, Elizabeth Denlinger, and many great nieces and nephews that will miss her greatly.

Sabrina L. Shank, 52, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2020 at home. She was the wife of Charles A. Shank, Sr. with whom she married on September 25, 1992. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of Jochebet V. Farley and Richard Waters.

Sabrina was a longtime employee at the Giant Food Store in Elizabethtown. She was very involved with Elizabethtown Moose Lodge 701 and served as past Senior Regent. She will be remembered by her family as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and daughter who loved her family and friends and spoiling her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, watching wrestling, NASCAR and rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her children, Charles A. Jr. fiancé of Ashleigh Raudenbush; Tiernee M. wife of Jason Schmitt; Khadijah A. wife of Tyler Showalter; eight grandchildren, Alexandr, Trenton, Chanelle, Bradley, Jackson, Serenity, Cambree and Kiara; brothers, David Farley, Duane Farley and Jeffrey husband of Janice Farley.

David Edward Keesey, born January 19,1927, went home to be with the Lord on December 11,2019. He was the son of Charles William and Kathryn Elizabeth Newswanger- Keesey.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Juanita M (Hildebrand) Keesey, daughters Lynn Totten and her husband Barry,Kathryn Fisher and her husband John and Melanie McWilliams and her husband Ryan, 7 grand children and 1 great grandchild and sisters Jeanne and Rita Keesey. He is preceded in death by his brother C.Robert Keesey, daughter, Cynthia L. (Keesey) Robinson and step mother Ruth (Gill) Keesey.

David served the US Army during the Korean War, stationed in Germany.

David was the owner and operator of Keesey Electronics for 29 years, located in Wrightsville, Pa.

A graduate of Thaddeus Stevens Trade School he was a master brick layer and tile setter. Tom loved spending time with his family especially his great-grandchildren and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Kathryn (Bowman) Marinaro, his children: Thomas (Kathleen) Marinaro of Lancaster, PA., Anthony (Claudette) Marinaro of Folcroft, PA., and Teresa (William) Kraft of Columbia, PA., grandchildren: Marco Marinaro, Nicholas Marinaro, Edward Marinaro, Melisa Marinaro, Angela Graham and Kara Tozer, great-grandchildren: Gracie, Isabella, Abigail, Molly, Tommy, Joe, Jack, Luke, Nora and Caroline. Dick proudly served in the Unites States Army and worked for more than 40 years as a carpenter at Armstrong World Industries. He enjoyed Gaither gospel music and watching NASCAR with his late wife.

Dick leaves behind his children, Patricia Landis of Lancaster, John Jones, Sr. of Willow Street; two grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; his baby shih tzu, Lucy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cass in 2014. Dick was the last of his family and seven sisters and one brother passed before him.

Donald H. Foltz, 84, of Columbia passed away on December 19th, 2019. He was born in Columbia and raised in Washington Boro to the late Raymond and Hazel Foltz. Don was a graduate of Columbia High School with the Class of 1953 and proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Following his service, he worked for "42 years and two months" at Caterpillar in York County before his retirement in 1995. Don had a passion for Penn State Football and archery, and was a past president of Fox Harbor Archery Assoc. He enjoyed hunting whitetail deer with his son and family in Potter County. Don's other interests included raising azaleas in his front yard from seedlings, growing tomatoes in his flower beds, and making many wood crafts. He was a long-time member and past president of the Washington Boro Lions Club. He also belonged to the Columbia VFW Post 2435 and was active in the former AARP Group in Columbia. Don was active as a coach and umpire in the CBAA baseball and softball programs in Columbia and coached the 1970 Washington Boro Little League Baseball Lancaster County championship team. Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, who treasured spending time with his family. Most of all, he enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren participate in sporting events. Don was a faithful member of Washington Boro Church of God for more than 70 years and Central Manor Church of God for the past 15 years.

Don leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Nancy (Hartman) Foltz of Columbia; his children, Barb, wife of Bill Armstrong of Lancaster, Donald, Jr. husband of Christy Foltz of Millersville; four grandchildren, Dr. Amy Armstrong, Julie Armstrong, Danny Foltz, and Caroline Foltz; his siblings, Jean Dyer of Florida, Richard Foltz of Washington Boro; his half-siblings, Arlene Johnson of Seven Valleys, Raymond Long of Lancaster; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Carl Foltz and Pearl Shaud.

Phyllis retired after eight years of service from the bakery department at Giant Foods, York, and previously was employed at Roanna Girl, Hellam and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Columbia. She loved life, fishing and camping and found joy in the company of her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Robert E. Hohenadel, Jr.; Bruce M. Hohenadel; Brian M. Hohenadel; Brad S. Hohenadel companion of Jody Grim; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Richard Groff. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Brandon Hohenadel, sister, Linda Groff and sister-in-law Anna Frantz.

Graham, Sr. with whom she was married 57 years until his death in 2004. Born in Washington Boro, she was the daughter of the late Christian and Margaret Adimire Warner.

Elizabeth retired after 36 years of service from the Susquehanna Glass Factory where she worked as a glass cutter. A music lover and musician, she played guitar, harmonica, organ, and accordion. She enjoyed playing bingo and was a horse lover. Most of all, she found full enjoyment in the company of her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Ruthann, wife of George Goeke; Elizabeth, wife of John Becker; Cheryl, wife of Paul Dressel; John W., Jr., husband of Lori Graham; Margaret, wife of Russell Stoutzenberger; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sisters, Anna Zook and Teresa Keysock.

Patsy was loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who treasured spending time with her family.

Funeral Services: Wednesday, December 18, 2019 NOON at St. John Lutheran’s Church, Columbia

Patsy Jean Seifried, 90, of Columbia passed away on December 12th, 2019. She was born in Columbia to the late Clarence F. and Olive Snavely Gerfin and was a longtime resident of this area.

Patsy was a graduate of Columbia High School with the Class of 1947 and was an active alumnus. She attended the Mt. Sinai School of Nursing in Philadelphia and worked for many years at the former Columbia Hospital before transitioning to Lancaster General Hospital and working with the Trinity House before her retirement.

Patsy was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, an active member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, and a volunteer for the Columbia Visitors Center. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and loved to travel and vacation in Florida. Patsy was loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who treasured spending time with her family.

Patsy leaves behind her children, Patricia, wife of Mark Fischer of Columbia, Lisa, wife of Rick Manley of Lancaster, Rick, husband of Tammy Seifried of Landisville; seven grandchildren, Travis, Marcus, Kristi, Nicole, Jesse, Niki, and Ian; four great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard K. Seifried in 1991.

Services for Patsy will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18th, 2019 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 23 S. 6th St, Columbia, PA 17512. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time. Gerald L. “Jerry” Arter, 75, of Columbia passed away on December 9th, 2019. He was born in Columbia to the late Chester and Evelyn Arter and was a lifelong resident of this area. Jerry attended Columbia High School and worked as a body shop mechanic for many years before starting his soft pretzel company, Daddy-O Soft Pretzels. Which he was very proud of. Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother who treasured spending time with his family.

Jerry leaves behind his wife of forty years, Betty Arter of Columbia; three children, Beth, wife of Mike Rice of Lititz, Sherry Lentz of Columbia, Robert, husband of Lisa of Gap; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Josh, Chad, and Zach; four great grandchildren, Tyler, Mazzie, Harper, Olivia, and one on the way; one sister, Linda Becker of Manheim. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings.

Harold E. Hartman, 92 of Lancaster passed away on December 7th, 2019. He was born in Supplee, PA to the late Peter and Sarah Hartman. Harold proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy Reserves and served aboard the USS Missouri. He worked for more than 30 years for the Sico Company and managed their service stations. He also worked part time for more than 20 years at Manheim Auto Auction and A.B.C. Auction driving their service trucks. Harold was a member of Masonic Lodge 496, Lancaster Forest #27, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, and American Legion Post 34. He was an avid camper and enjoyed spending time in Florida and was also involved in a bowling league in years past.

Harold leaves behind his daughter with whom he lived, Carol, wife of Jeffrey Wasche of Lancaster; four grandchildren, Shaun Hartman, Mandy Weber, Justin Hartman, Kayla Wasche; three great grandchildren; five siblings, Bette Jean Wilkowski, Dale Hartman, Delano Hartman, Laverne Hartman, Sheldon Hartman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Esther in 2011, his son Harold “Harry” E. Hartman, and 7 siblings.

Services for Harold with Masonic rites will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 13th, 2019 at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, 519 Walnut St, Columbia, PA 17512. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Pastor Carlene Wolf will officiate. Burial will follow at Conestoga Memorial Park. Michael W. Hooper II, 58, of 638 S. 13th St., Columbia, PA died on December 5, 2019 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy, PA. He was the husband of Amy Hess Hooper. Born in Columbia he was the son of Dorothy Koehler Hooper of Mount Joy, PA and the late Michael W. Hooper I.

Mike was employed as Assistant Plant Manager for Lancaster Leaf Tobacco Co. for 12 years. He was a Methodist by faith. Mike was a Life Member of both the Foresters of America and the Columbia Canoe Club. Mike was a man of many trades and enjoyed passing on his skills in home improvement and mechanics to his loved ones. He enjoyed spending time at the river and hunting arrowheads at Long Level. He would say his greatest accomplishment was his children.

Surviving besides his wife are 2 daughters: Elizabeth wife of Garrett Mowrer of Mt. Airy, MD and Emily Hooper of Apple Valley, CA, and a Son: Alec Hooper of Columbia, PA; a sister: Michele wife of John Kneisley of Lancaster, PA, and a brother: Stephen husband of Vicki Steiner Hooper of Columbia, PA.

A Celebration of Mike's Life will be held from the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc., 519 Walnut St., Columbia, PA on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 11:00AM (VIEWING 10:00AM – 11:00AM).
